Q: What do you look for in someone to train for leadership?

A: I’m looking for someone with the right “gifts.”

G = gifted to lead
I = influential with people
F = fruitful even before they have a leadership position
T = trustworthy in small things
S = serving in some capacity already

That whole day with Tim Elmore was really helpful! I'm glad I was able to be there.

In addition to picking up some of the Habitudes books, I also picked up a book Dr. Elmore had called "Leveraging Your Influence: Impacting College Students for Christ". I look forward to getting into that one. I haven't found too many books specifically written towards college student ministry, so was excited to find out about this one.
